About
My name is Dalton Remata
I'm a 23-year-old Filipino-Hawaiian freelance photographer, videographer, and video editor from O'ahu, Hawai'i. I graduated in Spring 2025 with a BS in Television, Film, and New Media from San Diego State University. During my time as a film student, I learnt the backbone of film history through studying directors, genres, and more. I received hands-on experience on film sets with roles such as Boom-Microphone Operator, Sound Recordist, Grip, and Production Assistant. I've also gotten to know the basics of Sound Design and Foley, dabbling in the post-production side of filmmaking. Besides my university work, my hope from my multi-media work I produce is that any person who views my work is able to feel the importance of friendship as well as family, as those are most of the people in my media. I also hope for people to see past the messages I initially create to cultivate a new meaning from their perspective, I hope that people can connect and resonate with my work.
